Choose Your Finish

Six distinct wrap finishes — from mirror-gloss to full chrome. Every option is fully reversible and available in hundreds of colour variations.

Gloss Finish

The classic. Deep, mirror-like shine that transforms any colour into a head-turner. Easy to clean, durable, vibrant — and available in the widest range of colours.

Matte Finish

The statement. Flat, non-reflective surface that gives any vehicle an aggressive, premium look. Increasingly popular on luxury SUVs — makes dark colours especially striking.

Satin Finish

Between gloss and matte — a subtle sheen that catches light without being fully reflective. Sophisticated and understated. The choice for those who want distinction without drama.

Metallic Finish

Embedded metallic flakes that shimmer and shift in light. Exceptional depth and visual impact — the finish moves as the vehicle moves. A premium look that paint rarely achieves.

Chrome Finish

Maximum visual impact. Mirror-like metallic surface available in silver, gold, black, and colour variants. Not road-legal in all configurations — we advise correctly before every chrome wrap.

Custom / Two-Tone

Split colours, contrast roofs, custom graphics — we work to your exact specification. Share a reference image, a colour code, or an idea and we'll make it happen.

Wrap vs. Repaint

Why Wrap Instead of Repaint?

A full colour wrap achieves the same visual transformation as a respray — at a fraction of the cost, in less time, and with one major advantage: it's reversible.

Reversible

Remove the wrap anytime to reveal factory paint underneath in perfect condition. Ideal for leased vehicles or owners who change their mind.

Paint Protected

The wrap actually protects your factory paint from UV, rock chips and minor abrasion during its life — returning paint in better condition than it left.

Faster & Cheaper

A full repaint costs more and takes longer. A quality wrap achieves the same visual transformation at a fraction of the price — typically in 2–4 days.

Resale Value

Keep the original paint pristine under the wrap. Remove before selling to show buyers factory-original paint — a genuine advantage at resale time.

Colour Wrapping FAQs

Questions About Colour Wrapping

Does vinyl wrapping damage my car's paint?
No — when installed and removed correctly, vinyl wrap protects your paint rather than damaging it. The adhesive is designed to bond to painted surfaces without leaving residue or lifting paint when removed by a professional. At ZGuard, we prepare the surface correctly before application and remove wraps professionally.
How long does a colour wrap last?
A quality vinyl wrap lasts 3–7 years depending on the film brand, the colour, and how the vehicle is cared for. UV exposure (significant in Dubai), washing frequency, and parking conditions all affect longevity. We use premium films with UV-stable pigments to maximise lifespan.
Can I wrap a leased or financed car?
Yes. Wrapping a leased vehicle is common and acceptable — the wrap protects the factory paint underneath. When you return the vehicle, the wrap is professionally removed to reveal the original paint. This is actually one of the most popular use cases for wrapping.
How is wrapping different from repainting?
A repaint permanently changes the vehicle's colour and can affect its factory finish history (relevant for resale). A wrap is reversible — the original paint remains untouched underneath. Wraps are also typically faster, less expensive, and offer more finish options (matte, satin, chrome) than conventional paint.
Can I choose any colour?
Yes. We offer hundreds of colours across gloss, matte, satin, metallic and chrome finishes. If you have a specific colour reference (RAL code, manufacturer code, or image), we can source or mix to match. Two-tone and custom designs are also available.
How long does a full wrap take?
A full vehicle wrap at ZGuard typically takes 2–4 days depending on vehicle size and complexity of design. Partial wraps (bonnet, roof, mirrors) can often be completed in a single day.
